Welcome to my "Lemon Shake-Up" fundraising page for Team Lemon. I am dedicating all my 2012 races to this great cause. This is the first race on my calander for 2012 and I hope its a great one. Please help me raise funds to fight childhood cancer.

Recently received a letter from one of the children I am helping by running. Little Charlotte is nine years old and in the third grade. She was originally diagnosed at the age of three with Medulloblastoma, a cancer of the central nervous system. She underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor and then received high dose intensive chemotherapy due to the aggressive nature of the disease and four remaining tumors in her spine. She managed to remain stable until she relapsed with multiple brain tumors at the age of five. Charlotte had a second craniotomy to remove the tumors, continued on chemo and then received Proton Radiation Therapy. While she is currently off treatment and considered stable, she deals with a lot of late effects due to her treatments such as High Frequency Hearing Loss in both ears, cognitive impairment, and organ damage to name a few.

This is why it is so important to find a cure for these young kids. Please help me raise funds to fight childhood cancer.
