About Charlie Onne
Charlie was diagnosed with a 17cm Wilm’s Tumor in May of 2024. His tumor completely encased his right kidney and extended to his bladder. It was the size of a mini football and weighed 2lbs!
Charlie had a total nephrectomy in June 2024 and started chemotherapy and radiation. His diagnosis wasn’t straight forward so there were some delays in choosing the right treatment at the onset. We are fortunate for genomic testing and learned that Charlie does have a de novo (new) WT1 mutation. Although he completed initial treatment, he is high risk for relapse and other genitourinary cancers.
Thank you for donating towards Wilm’s Tumor WT1 research to help provide better treatment for Charlie and kids like Charlie.
