I’m running the Chicago Marathon for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. I grew up in Wynnewood, where Alex’s Lemonade Stand began. She went to my elementary school and I watched as the community came together, selling lemonade one cup at a time, to support not just her, but funding for childhood cancer all together. Her story, courage, and legacy continue to inspire me. Running this marathon has long been a dream of mine, and I’m proud to use this opportunity to support a cause that means so much to me.
