When
Leukemia is the most common pediatric cancer and remains the second leading cause of pediatric cancer related death. In the Pikman Lab, our goal is to use genomics and metabolomics to understand pediatric leukemia biology and develop strategies to integrate targeted therapies for treatment of leukemia. Our collaborative translational precision medicine program uses genomic profiling from patient samples to guide laboratory-based target identification and validation, and development of combination drug treatments. We are also interested in targeting leukemia-specific metabolic alterations to influence therapy. We aim to inform early phase clinical trials of targeted therapies for patients with leukemia.
