Hello! I am excited to be partnering with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to help fight against childhood cancer. I am teaming up with ALSF as I train for the 2024 Chicago Marathon. This is my third full marathon, and my first time pairing up with a team. This training block has been special, because I know my work is going to something bigger! Alexandria "Alex" Scott founded "Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation" on what seemed to be a simple concept. In the year 2000, when Alex was just 4 years old and battling neuroblastoma, she told her parents that she wanted to have a lemonade stand. Everyone was surprised when they found out Alex wanted to donate all of the money she earned to "her hospital". Alex continued to have more lemonade stands throughout the years. In August 2004, Alex passed away at the 8-years-old, knowing that, with the help of others, she has raised over $1 million to help kids with cancers. Please consider donating, as I run (many, many miles) in support of children with cancer. Your support is most appreciated and will make a meaningful impact on the lives of all children with cancer! Please also pray for our youngest community members and their families. Follow me on race day by tracking my bib number: 41174
