Please join us on Wednesday, May 20th for a workout class with fitness studio Rowgatta, where 100% of all proceeds will be donated to Alex's Lemonade Stand's Emergency COVID-19 Fund. No equipment will be needed for this full-body, high-intensity interval training class. A minimum of a $5 donation is required to participate in this 45 minute class, but donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Thanks to our great partners at Rowgatta, ALL proceeds will be donated to fight those impacted by pediatric cancer and COVID-19 and thus all donations are 100% tax-deductible.
COVID-19 has disrupted everyday life in so many ways. For many families, fighting pediatric cancer during this time is more difficult than ever. As everyone navigates this “new normal,” the needs of childhood cancer families don’t stop. Many families already operate on one income and are facing even more economic uncertainty during this pandemic. But familes still need to afford expensive healthcare costs, necessary treatments and often pay for lodging near hospitals in distant cities. Families need these solutions now and you can help ALSF provide these critical services. Your donation can mean continued funding of cancer treatment, much needed supplies to protect children's compromised immune system to keep them safe from the virus or maybe a week's worth of groceries for a family that is batting pediatric cancer, but also had a parent lose their job due to COVID-19.
Our founder, Alex Scott, started ALSF with one lemonade stand. Today, ALSF has raised more than $250 million and has funded over 1,000 research grants at nearly 150 institutions around the world. It all started with one cup of lemonade. We believe everyone can play an integral part in not only combating pediatric cancer, but also COVID-19. Please help us support a great cause and also receive a great workout during quarantine. Any amount will significantly help kids and their families navigate these difficult times.
