What's better than two Cooks running?  Two Cooks running at Disneys Wine and Dine  half marathon.  Get it. Wine and Dine...Cooks... I know it's a stretch. But despite my poor attempt at a joke for a opener. It is a fact. The Cooks are running a half marathon to fundraise for Alex's Lemonade Stand. As a family directly impacted by cancer we understand the importance of helping to raise money to fund all necessary research.

Every day, there are almost 700 new cases of childhood cancer around the world. This adds up to an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 each year worldwide. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded with less than 4% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
