I knew as soon as I read about this organization that this was the one I would be honored to support as I train for the Chicago Marathon. My Dad suffered through 3 different cancers in his adult life, ultimately passing away from Sarcoma cancer. I won't go into all those details in this introduction. but I knew I wanted to support something related to cancer as I signed up for the Chicago Marathon. As soon as I watched the video of Alex and her Lemonade Stand I knew in my heart, my Dad would be proud to help children fighting this ugly disease.

To honor one of the World's Best Dad's and Grandpa's you could ever imagine, I would be grateful if you consider supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and I encourage you to learn more about ALSF. 

It all started with one front yard lemonade stand and a beautiful 4-year-old girl named Alex. Today, ALSF has raised more than $250 million and has funded over 1,000 research grants at nearly 150 institutions around the U.S. and Canada.
