Hailey Parker was an 11-year old little girl who loved to eat mint chocolate chip ice cream and dance with her friends when she was diagnosed with Stage IV brain cancer in March 2015.

Upon learning of her diagnosis, Hailey decided she wanted to help other kids with cancer. She and her cousins set up a lemonade stand in their front yard and raised $527 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a charitable organization whose mission is to promote awareness for childhood cancers, raise money for research and encourage others, especially children, to get involved and make a difference for children with cancer.   

On Sunday June 9, Ocean City kids will carry on Hailey’s wish in her memory with the  annual “Dancing For Hailey” Dance Party and Lemonade Stand in front of The Dance Place.  Last year we raised over $18,000 and hope to exceed that goal this year! The suggested donation for entry is $10.
