The passage for Elli begin March 31^st, 2016, when a stomach ache led to a CT scan and culminated into the removal of a kidney and a 9mm Wilm’s tumor all in 1 week.  Her fight was just beginning and she would endure much more in the months to follow. 

Alex’s Lemonade Stand is a foundation that focuses efforts on the research of childhood cancers.  Part of this funding supports early detection of cancer in children.  It was this funding that first impacted Elli’s story.  Early, quick diagnosis was the first step of her journey toward beating childhood cancer.
