May 22, Opening Day to benefit Kick-It

The Safari Outdoor Adventure Park, scheduled to open May 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., will add to the outdoor entertainment which currently includes: a 77,000-square-foot outdoor waterpark, playground, shuffleboards, sand volleyball courts and Safari Adventure Animal Park, which opened last summer and offers up close and personal encounters with African animals including giraffes and zebras. Kalahari invites the public to celebrate the grand opening and is offering Safari Outdoor Adventure Park day passes for half-price ($10, regularly $19.95). All of the proceeds from the sale Safari Outdoor Adventure Park day passes will go to Kick It, a Cleveland-based organization that raises funds for pediatric, adolescent and young adult cancer research. Kalahari Resort will also match the money raised with a goal of raising $10,000 for this worthy organization.
