Please help us squeeze the juice out of childhood cancer! 6 years ago, we weren't sure what the future would hold for Lily Monkey as we fought the C-monster. This year her docs mentioned the other C-word- CURE. Although we will always be monitored due to our inherited cancer syndrome- Li-Fraumeni Syndrome- treatment stopped her adrenal cancer in it's tracks. We have been lucky with few long term side effects- But research that ALSF supports- means better, less toxic treatments for children like Lily. Lily is proof that research matters- better treatment fo kids will help give them what they deserve- a chance to be kids!

Every year, an estimated 263,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That's 720 new kids affected every day. And yet, childhood cancer is vastly and consistently underfunded. Less than 5% of the federal government's total funding for cancer research is dedicated to childhood cancers each year.
