Hello everyone! Did you know $50 is all it takes to fund one hour of pediatric cancer research? While that seems like a huge amount of money for one hour, in the grand scheme of things, it's really not. Childhood cancer is one of the least funded areas of medical research. Please help me out as I go to run the Chicago Marathon this year as a part of Team Lemon. Running has changed my life and it makes me more grateful everyday that I was able to overcome my personal battle with Wilms tumor so that I'm able to live my life to the fullest extent possible. Your continued support through my "fundracing" efforts is much appreciated!
My teammate Gene and I have pleged to raise 1000 dollars each to help fight childhood cancer. You'll see scattered throughout this page in pictures and names some of the kids that I've come in contact with through lemonade stands and social media who I want to honor or hold in memory during the 26.2 mile trek through Chicago. All the struggle of running those miles is nothing compared to what these children and their families have had to endure...any help we can offer is wonderful.
ALSF is a great charity that does amazing things in the world of pediatric cancer so please know that your donation will be put to good use!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
PS- That goofy looking baby in the photo is me during treatment :)
