The National Cancer Society receives about 400 million dollars in funding yearly. None of this goes towards research of neuroblastoma. About 650 cases of neuroblastoma is diagnosed yearly with half of them dying within 5 years. Though neuroblastoma is one of the most common forms of childhood cancer, it represents one of the highest morbidity rates amongst those diagnosed with childhood cancer. I would like to ask my friends, family, and anyone who would donate to this worthy cause. My son or anyone's child should not have to suffer.
