Yes its as simple as that. A beautiful little girl named Alex had a dream. Her dream was to sell lemonade through her small lemonade stand and earn a million dollars. A simple dream with high hopes. Alex was was diagnosed with neuroblastoma (type of childhood cancer) shortly before her first birthday. Fighting all odds, Alex battled through for many years, however at the age of 8 she lost this battle. Her simple dream was solely to fund cancer research and give money to doctors to help other kids like her and hopefully find a cure for this prevalent disease. Alex stuck true to her word and held her first lemonade stand raising $2000. Today through her legacy Alex's lemonade stand has well surpassed the one million mark but her dream is yet to be fulfilled. Sometimes simple things can make a big difference and a little help can go a long way. I will be running for Alex on March 16th and need to raise a minimum of $1200 by that time, however with the hope of achieving well above that amount. With a little help we can find a cure and give children the rightful opportunity to live a full life. Please donate whatever you can. Any amount is appreciated and will help tremendously towards Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation which has now reached unprecedented levels with pediatric cancer research.
