On February 12th, we sat in a hospital room, waiting for CT Scan results we naively assumed would confirm that a "shadow" on Sarai's ultrasound was benign. Within hours, we were instead carrying our daughter into the Oncology department at Children's Hospital. The weeks to follow were nothing short of terrifying, as we walked through every parent's worst nightmare. As horrific as our experience was, however, we are so fortunate, compared to the many, many families who have received the same life-changing news. It is for these families and especially for the pediatric cancer kids themselves...the ones we see at every visit to Children's, that we thank you for your donation.

On that day in February, we couldn't think this far ahead, did not dare to consider what Sarai's health could look like at this point. Yet, here we are...and as our daughter turns four, she will blow out her candles, happy and healthy...in remission and as full of life as ever. I'm not sure what she will wish for, but I know what my wish will be. With your help, we can raise money to battle childhood cancer, in honor of Sarai, in honor of Alex Scott, in honor of every one of the beautiful, amazing kids at Children's Hospital and around the world.
