My name is Laila Chadwick and I play Libero for one of the top volleyball clubs in the nation out of Washington DC. My job on the team is to keep the ball in play on defense, no matter what, by passing and making the dig! This time of year is qualifier season and over the next four tournaments, I want to help raise money and build awareness for childhood cancer through the defensive digs I make.

Cancer has taken the lives of my paternal grandparents and they would have loved that I am doing this to help find a cure for kids. There is not a lot of research done toward children's cancer and I want to change that! I had 224 Digs last season during these four tournaments and I am going for 250 Digs this year! All my digs will be tracked throughout the season. My goal is to raise $10,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. You can make a pledge of any dollar amount for each dig I get(ie. $2 or $5 per dig) during the four qualifiers or a one time donation of any amount by clicking the DONATE button.
