Day 1 of The Million Mile for Alex’s Lemonade and my first 5 miles down. As a cancer patient, I know how scary it can be. All the worries, not just about your health journey, but the treatment costs, travel, transportation and the burden it places on the family as well. I can’t imagine how difficult this journey must be for a child. I don’t know how it must feel to have my child experience that. This organization takes away a lot of the stress and financial responsibility and places the focus on your child’s health, where it should be.
