Henlopen Candle Works is proud to support Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) throughout 2024 via purchases of our "Alex's Lemonade Stand" scented candle. You can purchase your candle online, or visit us at upcoming events such as the Vic East June 4-5, 2022 & the Delaware State Fair July 18-28 2024!

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of 4-year-old Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who was fighting cancer and wanted to raise money to find cures for all children with cancer. Her spirit and determination inspired others to support her cause, and when she passed away at the age of 8, she had raised $1 million. Since then, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement and is one of the leading funders of pediatric cancer research in the U.S. and Canada.

We had a wonderful summer season with a huge thank you to everyone who supported Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation by purchasing an Alex's Lemonade Scented Candle! Henlopen Candle works was able to donate $500 towards childhood cancer research. We look forward to an amazing holiday season. We can't thank our supporters enough.
