As some of you may know, I underwent treatment for cancer this past year of 2019.  Staying at Children's Hospital Los Angeles for chemotherapy, I witnessed the financial, emotional, and physical struggle children and their families with cancer go through.  Although some treatments exist and often lead to a cure, that is not always the case. Additionally, the detrimental affects of the treatments on the body and its high price tag, make further research a necessity to find a cure.
