In August 2011 friends of my wife and I received the horrific news that their 9 week old baby boy had Stage 3 liver cancer. His tumor was so big in his tiny body that they had to give him chemo until they could shrink it. Once it was a safe size, they removed the tumor, half his liver, and his gallbladder. He continued chemo to make sure no bad cancer cells remained. At 10 months, Tate was finally in remission! Everything that these kids and their families go thru during their illness is heart breaking. We witnessed it first hand. My family is a huge supporter of Childhood Cancer awareness! Way to go Tate....so little, yet so mighty. You are my hero lil man, so proud of you for kicking cancers butt! A huge thanks to all the supporters!
