Williams Grove National Open Kick-It for Kids Cancer
The Williams Grove National Open Kick-It Tournament will be held Friday Sept 28th at Upper Allen Township Community Park 1978 Fisher Road approximately three miles north of Williams Grove Speedway. We understand that for many it may be a work day, but in order avoid interfering with the many other great racing charities already planned for Saturday Sept 29th at the Williams Grove Speedway we chose Friday the 28th. So take a half day off work to come out for some kickball, family and friend fun so we can raise money and have fun before the National Open that evening.nnIf you are interested in playing kickball with other race car drivers, team members, racing personalities and race fans, sign yourself or your team up through our National Open Kick-It page: http://www.kick-it.org/events/williams-grove-national-open-kick-it or contact [email protected] to be added to a team. We encourage a $10 donation or greater per player when you sign up to help reach our goal of $10,000. We have a limited number of teams and player openings.nnIt is free to come out and watch but we encourage everyone to visit our Kick-It page and donate.nnRegistration will begin at 12 Noon until 12:30 when we will begin our first games. The first round of the tournament will start with all twelve teams with 6 teams advancing to the second round. Three teams will move onto the semi-finals along with a 4th team that gets a second chance (who raises the most money for Kick-It and was previously eliminated) to determine the Championship Game between the final two teams with 7 innings lasting up to 45 minutes of play to determine the Williams Grove National Open Kick-It Champion.nnWe are looking for event sponsors to help us provide, snacks, drinks, trophies, supplies, signage, umpire shirts and other donations.
