XAVIER IS DOING IT AGAIN!!!!I am running another KICK-IT event because...
1: Pediatric cancer research is SEVERELY under -funded. Most kids with cancer end up getting re-diagnosed due to improper , harsh treatment that is not proven to work on children yet.
2: Knowing that fact, I think of the outcome my siblings, cousins, friends, and future children would have if they were diagnosed with cancer.
3: I feel as a future nurse, it is not only my duty to empower patients to fight disease, but to educate them on the importance of medical research, and the impact it can have on lives.
4: As a college student, I also fall into the category of pediatric cancer, and I feel this is a great opportunity for myself, and my classmates to do something that benefits our age group!
