What is Lemonade Days?
“If everyone has lemonade stands, I think we can do it.” - Alex Scott, Founder of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF)
This annual tradition of holding lemonade stand fundraisers every June began with our 8-year-old founder, Alex Scott. She wanted to raise $1 million to give “her doctors” so they could find cures for kids fighting cancer, like her. Her determination inspired others to take their stand for the cause, and they helped her reach $1 million with lemonade stands before she passed away from her cancer in 2004. Every year since, supporters who hold lemonade stands during Lemonade Days continue to raise millions and much more!
How to Host a Lemonade Days Stand or Event
Sign up!
Hosting a lemonade stand is easy! Pick a location and a date (or dates) between June 1 through June 30. Then register your stand at no cost and we can send you a kit to get started.
Spread the word!
Share that you're holding a Lemonade Days fundraiser with family and friends by email, social media and good old-fashioned word of mouth!
Hold your stand!
Host your lemonade stand! Collect donations, have a great time and feel good about helping kids with cancer with your stand!
With your help, we can continue to change the lives of kids with cancer, one cup at a time. Anyone, anywhere can hold a lemonade stand — it is free to register and there is no minimum fundraising requirement. Here are some simple tips to help walk you through setting up your stand.
