Leah and Malinda Ann are identical twins and marathon moms. They deemed themselves "Twins Run in Our Family" to share there experiences about running together to support causes they care about.
Leah and Malinda Ann joined Team Lemon on March 17, 2012 in memory of Michael, Leah's brother-in-law. Michael was diagnosed with leukemia as a child. Michael kept fighting cancer with his inspiring Irish spirit so it was very bittersweet when he died on St. Patrick's Day 2003.
The twins' grandmother, affectionately know as GG, was diagnosed with lung cancer on Friday, July 13, 2012 and died on Monday, July 16, 2012.
As of today, Leah and Malinda Ann have raised $4,237 in memory of Michael and GG.
Leah is grateful for the opportunity to run the 2018 Chicago Marathon, her 7th Chicago Marathon, on October 7.
