If your party includes children, have them hold a lemonade stand as a party activity that they will remember for the rest of their lives. You can even make it a special Alex’s Lemonade Sleepover—the kids do all the stand set up (like making posters, lemonade or baked goods) the night before, and then the next morning hold the stand and see their hard work rewarded!
If you already have a theme in mind, you can easily incorporate Alex's Lemonade Stand into your Birthday Party Festivities by just asking for donations instead of gifts.

Register your Alex’s Lemonade Birthday party at: http://www.alexslemonade.org/reg_form2.php to let us know the details about the party, including the name of the birthday person and age (if you would like to include it! Also, you should indicate whether or not you would like us to “post” your special birthday celebration party on our web site or events calendar listing.
Start planning your Alex's Lemonade Birthday Party.
Be sure to notify your family and friends that in lieu of birthday gifts you ask that they make a donation of any amount to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Birthday party invites are the perfect way to spread the word. Feel free to use the downloadable materials below for inviting and thanking your guests.

Some enthusiastic Birthday Party Planners even choose to set up a webpage which you can easily design, simply go to: www.firstgiving.com/alexslemonade. It’s a simple way to obtain donations and to include information about your Birthday Celebration. You can add a picture of the birthday person and create a paragraph or two about why you choose to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. You can then email to your friends and family and they can post Birthday messages when they make their birthday donations.

Information about donations:

Contributions can be accepted by cash or check donations at the party. Make checks payable to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. All donations are tax deductible.
Guests can even donate via phone or online, they simply need to notify us that they are donating in honor of a birthday.
We will notify the birthday person of donations made in honor of their special day.

As a small thank you for registering, the birthday person will receive a special birthday party pack from us. (Shh, it’s a surprise!!)
